THE LMT CO WINS ITOL CONTRACT

International Training - Main Page

The LMT Co has gained exclusive rights to deliver ITOL (Institute of Training and Occupational Learning) Qualifications into Central Asia and other International locations.

ITOL is the UK’s fastest growing network for trainers, and is now the professional body of first choice for those specialising in training, development and occupational learning.

The qualifications are:
  • Foundation Certificate in Staff Development
  • Certificate in Training and Occupational Learning (CITOL)
  • Advanced Certificate in Training and Occupational Learning (AdCITOL)
  • Diploma Certificate in Training and Occupational Learning (DIPTOL)

  • Mary Brooks, CEO of The LMT Co, won a contract with CAPC (Central Asian Personnel Consulting) to deliver the Advanced Certificate and Diploma in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The Advanced Certificate has been the first programme and is delivered in two parts. Lois Nott (left) went out to Almaty in April 2007 to deliver the first part with candidates from CAPC and two of their other clients.

Lois reported that the training programme had been accepted with enthusiasm by all the candidates and she enjoyed her stay in the Tyan-shang Hotel in Amlaty.

Lois goes back in September 2007 to deliver the remainder of the programme and to help the candidates to submit the summative work required to achieve the prestigious AdCITOL

Mary Brooks (right), starts off the Diploma programme in Almaty in July for approximately 8 candidates from CAPC and their clients who all hold strategic level roles within their organisations for Training and Development of the workforce.

Once the July delivery is complete, Mary then flies across Kazakhstan to Aksai, where she will stay for 3 weeks training the ILM Management Candidates at KPO on behalf of CAPC. She should be fluent in Russian and Kazak before she returns to the UK!

The DIPTOL continues in October 2007 and January 2008. The weather conditions in Almaty in January can get quite bleak, with temperatures dropping to -30 degree Celsius or lower, with heavy snow and Ice. Mary has experienced Kazakhstan in these weather conditions before and so is now well equipped with two very warm coats, boots, gloves and hats!

It is the first time The LMT Co have delivered ITOL Qualifications and have produced lively and original materials to help candidates achieve these awards for the first time in Kazakhstan.
